  INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES

1   The following document should accompany the application form :

        a) A Certified copy of Transfer Certificate from the Institution last attended
            (Subjects coming from outside the state)

        b) A Xerox / Certified copy of marks card of the three years examinations of B.A /B.Sc.

        c) The subject and marks in all parts of the three years excluding internal assessment marks
             should be mentioned clearlyand correctly.Aggregate percentage must be given correctlywherever required.The                        Candidate alone will be held responsible if wrong aggregate percentage is given.

        d) Orginal Marks cards, T.C., Migration Certificate and Certificate of Age proof will have to be submitted at the time                    of admission only.

        e) Karnataka students are required to submit Orginal Degree Certificate / Provisional Degree Certificate duly                                countersigned by the concerned University at the time of Admission itself.

        f) Students coming from outside Karnataka State are required to suv=bmit the Orginal Degree Certificate at the time                    of admission only.

        g) Following Teaching Methodologies are provide in this college.

             1) History and English           2) Hindi and History               3) History and Kannada
             2) Hindi and Mathematics     4) Physics and Mathematics    5) Biology and Chemistry
             7) Biology and English          8) Urdu and History

   2.   Candidates, belonging to reservation group attach the necessary certificate. All the orginal certificate should be                     p roduced      at the time of admission itself failing which the candidates will forfeit their admission.

        ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

   3   Candidates must be graduates with B.A. or B.Sc. and shall have studied any one of the languages and two of the                       three electives specified below and shall have studied any two of the elective specified for all the three years.

        LANGUAGES     :     English, Kannada, Hindi, Urdu, Marathi, Sanskrit

        ELECTIVES        :     Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, History, Political Science, Sociology,                                                   Geography,Economics, English, Kannada, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Marathi, Statistics.

        Candidates who have obtained a degree in B.A/ B.Sc., from the Universities situated outside Karnataka State, shall           arestudied in addition to language subject at least two elective subjects in their three year course of study in B.A, /           BS.c appearing in one subject in the University examination for at least two years and in the principal subject for all the
          three years

          If there is any change of subject in any of the 3 year course of study, such candidates shall not be aligible for admission                to B.Ed.

    4   Excluding internal and class examination marks and including languages, candidate must have obtained not less,                       then 50% of  the total marks in the three years of study. In respect of Candidates belonging to Scheduld Caste,                 Scheduld Tribe, Category-1 and Physically handicapped candidates, the minimum marks shall not be less than                      45%,

    5   Students with Economics as one of the optional subject inDegree can opt for Teaching of Geography as one of                      the teaching methodology in B.Ed.

    6   Students can opt for teaching of English as one of the teaching methodology in B.Ed. only if they have studied                      English as one of  the optional subject in degree.
